Politics is creeping into the boards, just like it did on HB.
Don’t let it ruin this site also. Enforce a hard line (with bans) on politics or this place will turn into another joke.
No political posts of any kind are allowed. Miving forwqrd, please bring them to my attention when they show. There are steps we can take.
So far, it’s not a major issue like it was on HB.
Given the current situation around the world, it’s almost impossible to complete shut out every little snarky political comment.
It only becomes a problem when the entire discussion is hijacked with long political diatribes that have no connection to the sport. That happens frequently on the other site and it almost happened here once in the Leafs forum a few days ago. That’s what made me originally post this. But, thankfully it died down of it’s own accord and hasn’t come up again.
This is where the ability to easily flag/report a post would be handy.
This site has been a nice breath of fresh air – all hockey and no Facebook type drama. I hope it stays this way.
