Quick Hits: Memorial Cup Final, Flyers Daily

I thought Barkley looked great the last 2 games of the Memorial Cup. Bonk was ok, but there were several other London players who were noticeable, such as Dickerson and Cowen. There was a report Bonk was injured, but I never saw it or heard it on the telecast. Hopefully Barkley can make the pro level within two years. I think Bonk will make the big team within two years, even with the reported injury.

If you’re the Flyers, would you trade a late 1st round pick in this year’s draft for StL goalie Hofer? I think if we can find a good partner with Ersson, that would be a wise 1st move toward setting the team moving forward next year. Thoughts?

I was thinking more along the lines Vanecek (if a 1/2 split) or better for a 1A/1B

Of the rather underwhelming list of UFA goalies, Vanecek would be the one worth bringing to Philly.
