ParticipantThe Red Wings played well during the Rookie Games in Frisco, Texas. Saturday was a blowout. Sunday was a seesaw affair despite a high-scoring loss.

ParticipantHi again,
I totally agree, game 1 was nice to watch and Buium was a pleasant player to follow, as well as Lombardi, ASP, Danielson and (yes, I have to write it…) MBN. I liked Doucet too (what a pass to MBN !).
Murphy is way too agressive for me, it is useless (opinion).
Game 2 with Rudy would have been a win.
So, Wallinder or Buium on the team ? ASP looks almost ready (huge skill, I love the way he sees the game) but needs more muscle, I think.
Wait and see ! -

ParticipantI had the good fortune to attend this game as I only live about 30 minutes from Comerica Center.
Unfortunately the Wings fell 6-5 tonight but it was awesome seeing live hockey since it has been more than a few years for me. I thought the Stars had more jump in the third for sure and the score sheet should show that. Wings goalie Pradel didn’t have the type of night he wanted I am sure as he let in some pretty easy goals.
Stand-outs for me tonight for overall play were Lombardie, Danielson, Buium, and to a lessor degree Kilfoil (has energy/drive but did not have a complete game like the others). Enjoyed watching the prospects (obviously my review skills are lacking) and there appears to be some talent still maturing before they are ready to be full time members of the big club.

ParticipantTXFAN i saw the same. Kilfoil’s goal was huge, big moment. I didn’t see a ton of other plays. But Danielson, Lombardi and Buium were visible every shift. Very impressive.
