Same. I live next to cattle country so it’s an endless supply of beef with some deer/elk/moose sprinkled in. Good to start the little ones young on meat, organ meat, bone broth. Keep em healthy.

I did some tuna steaks yesterday. Coated them in sesame oil then sprinkled sesame seeds over them before putting on grill on highest heat for just 2 mins a side. F’n delicious.

ParticipantYeah, August is historically the slowest and deadest month for NHL news and what not. Having said that, the EK trade was in August a few years back, that was a blockbuster. Wouldn’t be surprised if Dubas makes a move, or two, this month.

ParticipantPart of me would like to see Rust and Karlsson traded. Not so much Rakell. Graves and Jarry we’ll just have to be patient. Ain’t no one taking those contracts.
I’d trade anything for the right return….other than Sid of course. Rak likely gets us the best return. This is far from a playoff team, so let’s get bottom 3. This team needs some top end prospects.

I go back and forth between who gets the best return on those 2. A lot of teams are going to look at Rust as the proven playoff performer with that “clutch” factor. While I personally think Rakell is the better player production wise… I don’t really know who’s got the better chance at bringing in a good prospect.

ParticipantI’d take Rakell before Rust too. I think he grew his game in Pittsburgh. A lot more defensive conscious compared to when he arrived. Skill wise Rakell is better than Rust but their value are pretty much equal imo. Rust has a lot of grit and score some tough goals.
Dubas is just taking a lot of time to unload these guys. Jesus.

ParticipantIt’s a total haul or nothing for the R’s.
I hope we start to get away from quantity and start looking at quality. We have a gluttony of nobodies at every single position.
