I am just not sure there is a top 2 center available out there (potentially willing to waive to go to the Habs), or a developing younger player that does not carry significant risk (turn into another Dach / Newhook scenario).
Gonna be interesting to see what they actually do, but I am not sure how much magic Hugues and Gorton have in them to make something like Larkin happen.

management in Detroit hasn’t been all that great, their rebuild definitely isn’t going according to plan so this might be a good opportunity to take advantage of their incompetence loll
