Another good night to buy Leafs tix.

    Looking right now – Sec 115, Row 14 Golds – $162.68 a ticket.

    The market is dead.

Will be very interesting to see what happens at renewal time.

I’ve been a season ticket holder for almost 30 years, and prior to this year, never considered giving them up.

As of today, I do not think I will renew.

Do you primarily remain a season ticket holder as something of an investment? Make money off the big ticket games, then go to less popular ones as your schedule permits?

You can’t make money off tix anymore – you haven’t been able to since Covid.

As per my multiple posts over the past few years, you lose money if you sell weekday games through Ticketmaster.

Surprised to hear this Wedgsies. Is it because you feel the team is not, or on the verge of being not, competitive? Is it that you find the lack of effort or heart to be frustrating? Is it the price? (vs. what you could do on the re-sale market)? Or do you just find that you don’t have time or don’t care that much anymore.

I have definitely found that I don’t care as much.

It’s a bunch of things, including what you wrote above about price and time.

I look at these ticket prices on the resale market, and I can get much better seats for much less money.

One of the big things about season seats is guaranteed access to playoff tickets, but the prices are so bloody high now, it’s hard to justify going to a game. I’d honestly prefer to go to a bar with friends.

And I’m certainly not as passionate as I used to be. Many will say that it’s because the Leafs have disappointed me for so long, but I honestly think it’s just me getting older.

    Your semi-regular Leafs ticket report:

If you ever wanted to go to a Leafs game for cheap, tonight is the game.

It’s 10:21 in the morning, and there’s already a pair of lower bowl tickets for $146/ticket.

By 6 pm, this will be the lowest-priced Leafs game since the season we tanked for Matthews.

That’s when the game is going to start

By 5 pm,… this will be the lowest-priced Leafs game since the season we tanked for Matthews!

I expected more heat on the Leafs for their lackluster beginning of the season. Guess everyone’s watching baseball?

When we do well in October, opposition fans tell us that October games are not important.

And then when we are meh in October, youse guys tell us we should panic.

Leafs fans just can’t win (yeah, go ahead, I just teed it up for you).
