    It was Joel night.

Well they were overdue for a bad one. They still got alot of scoring chances.

The only concern for me on is Monty’s play.

I was at the game saturday with my boy, had a blast!

cool cool, how old is he now ?

    He’s 6

Went to a lot of games w/ my daughter when she was ~15 to ~25 years old.
Fond memories now that she’s 30.
Make as many as possible, it won’t last forever.

Yeah, well he’s 6 so I can’t go that much because it’s not great for his sleep.

But he started hockey this year and he really wanted to go and school is going really well so I wanted to reward him. Plus for once in the last decades we have an exciting young team that shows up almost every year and don’t rely entirely on goaltending to win games so it’s worth going back to the bell center.

apparently the senators have called up every AHL player they have, I’m not sure the habs should put in any of their regular roster guys on Saturday, wtf.

Really? Isn’t there a min ratio of vets they have to play per league rules?

I really dont know what they will do ?

Veleno, Florian, Blais, Kapanen ? wich 2 play with Evans ?

to me Beck goes back to Laval

I think Caufield Suzuki Slaf is a lock.
and so is Anderson Evans Gally.
I liked Newhook Kapanen Demidov. good to have some speed for once.
    that leaves Bolduc Dach Laine.
not sure the Evans line is a 4th line, all 3 lines will have similar ToI imo, depending on the scoreboard.
now perso I said I’d sit Laine and play Veleno at center, slide Dach to RW. but that’s just me. we could see that eventually if Laine gets injured or plays like last season.
and yes Beck and wifi jr to Laval. but they are almost ready, I wouldn’t be afraid to start them in Mtl. Blais as the 14th F.

I would play the last preason game with the same lines as yesterday, switch the Veleno line with Suzuki’s.

My boy started hockey this year. Saturday there was a bunch of free goodies on a table. He now has a little Crosby hockey stick, a Crosby tuque, a Crosby piggy bank and a Crosby water bottle.

    only a question of time

The tuque is nice, he loves the little stick.

It’s not ideal, it’s more like doing what we can with what we have

yeah, that’s why we’ll most likely see a rotation going on among the middle 6 players, until they find the best combination possible.

    Yes.

    Or until Dach gets injured.

can accept this. Combined with very limited creativity

yeah, I find Newhook also lacks creativity, although I think his biggest flaw is his lack of finish.

if Bolduc could center a line with Dach and Demidov, that could also become an interesting combination.

He does, but his speed creates things, even if he often doesn’t finish, a guy like Bolduc who goes to the net can jump on some lose pucks.

Maybe.. it’s not like Newhook is great at faceoffs.

But I feel those 3 play the game at a similar pace. Dach is slow and Laine is extra slow, doesn’t fit with Demidov.

I’d qualify Dach’s skating abilities more as being “average”, but I get what you’re saying.

I want to see what a Bolduc – Newhook – Demidov line could do.

he probably doesn’t have enough experience at center but I’d feel like switching Bolduc with Newhook in that case…
