or Bolduc Crosby Demidov
My boy started hockey this year. Saturday there was a bunch of free goodies on a table. He now has a little Crosby hockey stick, a Crosby tuque, a Crosby piggy bank and a Crosby water bottle.

yeah, I find Newhook also lacks creativity, although I think his biggest flaw is his lack of finish.
if Bolduc could center a line with Dach and Demidov, that could also become an interesting combination.
He does, but his speed creates things, even if he often doesn’t finish, a guy like Bolduc who goes to the net can jump on some lose pucks.

I’d qualify Dach’s skating abilities more as being “average”, but I get what you’re saying.

Probably, as a fan I would much rather see Florian. As an organization they will chose Beck.
with kids doing well (Beck, Kapanen, wifi jr…) one has to wonder if they won’t make a trade to open a spot or 2. maybe not not now, they can afford to send them back to Laval, but eventually (and sooner than later) it will be inevitable.
same with Reinbacher and Engrtrom. these 2 need more time in Laval, but they won’t stay there 2 years.It’s a nice problem to have.
Only real problem is really the 2nd line center and what version of Laine will show up
He will play in the NHL at some point, but will start the season in Laval most likely.
Its Owen Beck vs Kapanen for a place on the 4th line. On the wing.My guess is that it will be Veleno vs Blais for the 13th spot. You want a vet there and not a kid in the stands.

I wanna give Dach the benefit of the doubt… but he ain’t playin’ when his supposed linemates are.
Yeah that was strange, I think they wanted to evaluate where Kapanen is and his ability to play with offensive players.
But I hope they put Dach there for the rest of the preseason.
You know who I didn’t hate at all yesterday? Mesar.
Probably still a bust but he can execute at high speed. He gets pushed along the boards too easily

Newhook centering the 4th line?
yeah, noTop 6 is pretty much locked.
Only fight is between Laine and Bolduc for a spot on the second line really.
Bottom 6 is a jam log. Evans, Gallagher, Anderson and Newhook are there contractually, plus one of Laine or Bolduc. So that means there’s only one spot left for Veleno, Kapanen, Roy.
Here’s what I think the lines will look like at the start of the season, but I doubt they will be the same in december (i think a trade will be done)
Caufield – Suzuki – Slaf
Laine – Dach – Demidov
Bolduc – Veleno – Newhook
Gallagher – Evans – Anderson
Kapanen 7th will switch will Veleno if there’s no results, Laine will slide off the second line if he doesn’t get his head out of his ass.*marks territory*
