ParticipantDamn right! Choke on that one Ottawa. You didn’t deserve it at all! Beauty by Newhook!
Happy as hell but we can’t hold a lead … this going to cost us eventually.
We have a young team and we still have a lot of stuff to learn … it’s still better than having no offense at all … LOLNovember 1, 2025 at 8:23 pm in reply to: Brossoit: Canadiens Have the Talent Edge on Most Nights #46427Garfield
ParticipantStill early in the game but Monty seems a lot more “tuned in” than in other games.
Healthy competition from Dobes is a good thing for the Habs.November 1, 2025 at 8:10 pm in reply to: Brossoit: Canadiens Have the Talent Edge on Most Nights #46425Garfield

ParticipantHabs are doing a lot of good things since the season began … one area where we could improve in my opinion is on the penalty kill.
Instead of “sitting back”, I think we should pressure the puck holder a bit more … make them have to rush their plays.October 25, 2025 at 10:13 pm in reply to: Brossoit: Canadiens Have the Talent Edge on Most Nights #45141Garfield
ParticipantNo hate against Monty but right now Dobes is the guy, I’m sure Monty will find his game again.

ParticipantI gotta say, it’s a nice timing for me to write about appreciating Newhook and he scores twice. xD
Playing with Kapanen and Demidov helps … they’re a fast line that keeps the opponents on the back foot.

ParticipantIn years past I would have turned off the TV after trailing 3-1 … not anymore, these young Habs are hungry and they never quit.
They’re so much fun to watch after having sub-standard teams over the last 30 years.Garfield
ParticipantI think it was Constantinapopoulos or something like that.

ParticipantHe was a top 6 player with the Blues. The Snake Simon Boisvert said that trade was a huge steal for mtl at the time.
I said before the season that Bolduc would play a key role on the pp and push Laine out of the way. We are here.
I know it’s really early in the season but Laine is pretty much useless, the guy is too slow to be of any use … and he costs a fortune.
He’s a PP specialist only and other teams have adapted to him.Garfield
ParticipantBolduc is an hell of an acquisition so far.
It’s really nice to have more than one line who can score for a change.September 19, 2025 at 10:57 am in reply to: Brossoit: Prospect Showcase Packed with Top Habs Hopefuls #28449Garfield
