Brooks took a lot of sh*t from our community, but I religiously read him. I looked forward to his insights and will miss his column dearly. RIP

Last few coaches didn’t make adjustments to pp or lines in general fast enough for most of us fans. I like that Sully is at least trying stuff. There is talent there and we will score goals at home. Let’s start Saturday vs the Isles and then keep it rolling. I don’t want to over look Detroit tonight. They seem to play us pretty good; however, bald bread is going to go off.
And once again Quinn seems lost behind the bench.

Sounds simplistic but the PP has too many passers. Mika and Panarin must be separated.

pp1: Fox, Panarin, Trocheck (Miller) Laba, Lafrenière
PP2 : Fox, Mika, Cuylle, Miller (Brodzinski), Raddysh

Laba looks awesome for what it’s worth

Great along the boards – reminds me of Dom Maloney but for all the goals..but he had Espo.

why not label the 4th line what it is? The 3rd line. Rather than the Momentum line, how about the “heads-up” line? That’s what they hear from opponents. I like that Sully is playing Panarin and sometime Fox now, for the full 2 min PP. I would just as well scrap PP2 unless PP1 is “shipping” the bed. Bounce back Mika was predictable.

Power play units for opening night:

PP1 – Fox, Panarin, Trocheck, Zibanejad and Miller

PP2- Schneider, Sheary, Cuylle, Lafrenière and Rempe

    PP2 looks terrible. can’t wait

Lafrenière : To be fair he certainly didnt bust down any doors.

PP2 looks like PP1 is getting 1:45 of the ice time.
