Long weekend coming up… just trying to get my stuff done to GTFOOHASAP!
everyone can leave here early today but me and my boss because we might get some more sales to put through for the end of the month.
trying to get the VPN added to my computer because i need it to do part of the job from home. if IT can get me that in time, i can leave early too but i kind of doubt they’ll get back to me in time.
i don’t mind. i’m pretty sure i’ll just be sitting here with nothing to do anyway.
after that we have a three day weekend too.

Deep Purple In Rock was made as an answer to the first (2) Led Zeppelin albums and is every bit as good imho.Listen to whatever turns you on.
I don’t believe in the tiresome “my music is better than your music” arguments.Superunknown is a great album. I still listen to Black Hole Sun and Spoonman.
i feel the same way. i joke around about nickelback as much as the next guy but everyone should just listen to whatever makes them feel good.
also, SG covered “into the void” and i’ve always loved it. i’m sure you’ve already heard it but if you haven’t, check it out!
Very much an elderly Metalhead.
Favorite band is probably Judas Priest (and Halford solo stuff) but right up there
is also Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Deep Purple, Rainbow.
Other more obscure stuff is in there too.I just love music overall.
I also listen to a lot of mellower genres to slow down the dain bramage.nice! i’m not as much of a metalhead but i have at least some stuff by most of those bands. especially black sabbath. mostly just the ozzy stuff for some reason.
i was just recently thinking to myself that i have to get into some more deep purple stuff than just the surface songs that i know.
