Been having troubles logging on here and this thread was janky for days with only like 3 posts on it. Now there’s a ton lol.
How are things friend? And yes, that was Brent Hinds from Mastodon who died in a motorcycle accident. A car merged and didn’t stop and killing him on his motorcycle. He was an unreal guitarist that blended country style and chicken pickin with heavy metal/alternative styles with heavy distorted guitars and beautiful instrumentals showcasing his blended style. Unfortunatly, the band broke up in recent months. At first everything seemed amicable but it turned sour as Brent started posting negative and attacking tweets to the ex-band members. Apparently he was a heavy drinker too (which never helps). I think he suffered a severe brain injury when he got knocked the fuck out outside of a club by another musician and was never really the same since. Sad story all around. I’ll have to relearn some of their tunes on my new golden axe.
Actually, the name of the colour is “Atomic Saffron”! LOL

i read that he started by learning on a banjo! i know they’re corny but i do think banjos are kind of cool in a paul mccartney’s weird shaped bass guitar kind of way.

The NFL and Nike are launching the “Rivalries” program with a four-year rollout, starting with the eight teams in the AFC East and NFC West this year. Two additional divisions will be added each year until all 32 teams have their own rivalry uniform by 2028.

i feel like it’s worth it to them to just pay up because football fans are all going to change to another service if they don’t. like, i think they lose more money by not paying to keep fox.
i already blocked all the nonsense fox channels so they don’t show up on my screen but obviously had to keep the local fox channel for the eagles games.
