Also, people who habitually lie for their job tend to allow that feature to drip into their real life
he could have dropped all this years ago and kept is wife, kids, and house though.
i feel like the wife was begging him to get a real job for years as the money from the site started flagging but he couldn’t give up the attention and didn’t want to work a real job. once you lose your house for lack of wanting to work, you can expect the wife to split. all his friends and family seem to have left him and that doesn’t usually happen to good people.
Before the draft, he had a buzz cast that had a bizarre title and it seemed to allude to the end of hb. Started to watch and I legitimately thought it was a person parodying ek as extra challenged. Nope, it was him.

i love that his entire personal life is in shambles and it’s still important to him to lie to people on the internet about who he is and what he knows.
i’m like 95% sure the website is the reason his life is in those shambles and he continues to choose it over everybody and everything else.
I hope this place develops into an improved forum version of HB.

This Habs forum seems awesome so far. Hopefully any bad eggs stay away.It seems there is a belligerent poster over on the Leafs forum who fights constantly with everyone.
He seems to drag some basically decent people down to his level.it seems like a lot of the losers didn’t come over for some reason. a lot of them did (see that leafs thread you mentioned) but a lot of them seem to either not know about the new site or didn’t want to make the switch. which is good for us.
i think this site can’t help but be better because they are posting hockey news and stories, not a bunch of rumor bullshit or trying to claim they know what’s going to happen and have scoops.

i don’t get why these people need the attention so bad. the problem with people like him and wrecklund (one of them anyway) is that they need it to be about them. eklund desperately needs people to believe that he has connections and that GMs talk to him and let’s not even mention shania and his bio. even though he knows nobody believes him, he’s willing to keep saying stupid shit to remain living in his fantasyland.
normal people like the guys running this site understand that the site should be about the sport its covering and the users of the site.

As bad as he was, I’m not sure he deserved *all* the abuse he got from the regulars.

i think that’s why misterchicken won’t put his avatar that i love so much on this site.i’m trying to figure out a way to do it for him but i think i’m all out of gmail addresses and i think i would need him to change to a temporary password on here, let me access his account, then i’d use a one time gmail address to change his avatar and then give it all back to him so he could change his password back but would now have the avatar that i miss so much. inquisitive chicken.

in the Blackhawks forum since this site opened.
80% of those forum posts are by me.
10% of those are worth reading.the avatar thing is weird.
click on your name to bring up your profile and click edit, then scroll down to the avatar part, it will take you to a site called gravatar. you add the avatar you want there and save it and somehow it just pops up here. none of us thought it was going to work but it did.
Geez, you can really fall behind fast in this forum, lol (don’t know how to add an emoji and they look bad anyway from what I can tell)

trying to post 2 pics in a single post doesn’t work and trying to respond to a gif with a pic doesn’t work either.
it’s all a work in progress still, i guess.
