Good idea so Meateater can share the office with you.
you should see his office (yes, the mail guy gets an office). it’s probably 9 feet by 9 feet, dark, and one day i went in there and the AC unit on the roof was leaking right onto his desk.

Are you allowed to close and lock your door?
no. they’re weird about that here. i came in one day as i was just getting over a cold and closed my door because the receptionist takes care of her mother who is kind of at the end and i didn’t want to chance getting the receptionist sick who might then pass it on to her elderly mother. they told me to just go home instead.

Purchase a large puzzle
in a few months we move to a large office that they’re making out of our old showroom. i am hoping i’ll be in a better hiding place and can do puzzles then. my old office when i was in logistics was huge and out of the way and nobody ever even knew i was back there. this current office i have is right in the middle of everything. the reception area is right outside my door. everybody has to walk by here to go anywhere.

How has your day been?
kind of a snooze. yesterday was regular end-of-the-month busy and i was hoping all week would be like that but today was slow.
i do financing and yesterday we got 4 new applications along with the ones we were already working on. today we got zero. ZERO.
i played scrabble again.
