I worked as a mover for 2 summers when I came home from University.
You cannot really plan your move in/out dates based on the weather.
I moved so many people on rainy days, super hot days, etc…
Kinda sucked.
But I do miss being 19/20 and that buff.
LOl.
when i was younger, i made sure to move in to my apartments in the fall. that way anytime my lease was up, if i wanted to find somewhere better, i was moving in the fall. i moved in and out of like 3 apartments in a row on halloween.
if you hate heat as much as i do, you have to plan properly.
It’s getting all the way up to 79 degrees today, 90 with humidity !
Tomorrow is much worse, 90 degrees with 109 humidex rating.
700 degrees with a real feel of dead here today.
Kinda feel bad for people without A/C or that need to be outdoors today.
But not bad enough to invite them into my place to cool down.
yeah, no. sweaty people have to stay outside.
yesterday i saw someone pull up with a moving truck and start unloading stuff into their new condo next door to mine and that seemed like bad planning. his shirt was already soaked all the way through from loading the truck and now he had to unload it.
its the kind of day Mando was invented to handle.
i think i’d still die. i’d just die with dry pits that smell like clover woods.
Pours a hot coffee.
i’m only going out there to take the trash out a little later. other than that, outside is dead to me right now.
Is now a good time to mention the temperature has dropped to 60 degrees ?
where are you? i’m on my way there.
