So I thought we all agreed that Hugo would write a blog after each win… he is falling behind!

    LOL.

the Slaf-Suzuki-Caufield line is slowly establishing itself as one of the best in the league. they’re just so fun to watch…

Slaf is doing a lot more things this year that may not show on the score sheet, including shooting more and using his size a lot more effectively.

This is indeed a fun line to watch, rarely have a bad shift.

Rough 3rd period, but they pulled out the win in the end.

    Dobes gets another start tonight.

I think this one will be too late to stay up and watch though.

oh, the edit option just disappeared, how nice lol.

You can only edit your last post, not previous ones and I think there is a time limit to make the edit, too.

yeah, that would be more among the last resort options if Hughes can’t find anything elsewhere.

My only concern is the contract… 3 years left after this one, $7M per year. 38 when it is done.

But he is the kind of player they may want, push Dach to the wing, Dach / Khadri / Bolduc looks like a pretty good 3rd line to me – solidified the top 9 and you still got and Anderson / Evans / Gally 4th line too.

You have to do it day by day, and if you make a change (add / drop, etc), you have to re-do them all.

You can pay $3 a month, but that will only set your roster for 3 days, not the whole week.

    So that seems pointless.

oh is that the thing I heard about Yahoo making people in fantasy leagues pay for an option that used to be completely free..?

sounds like the folks at Yahoo want to get rid of the only thing they had going after losing the search engine battle to Google lol.

You’d think if they were going to make you pay, they’d at least let you set the whole week’s lineup at once.

And given it takes like 10 seconds to do the same on your own, not sure why anyoen would pay…. I know you get other things, but whatever.

I expect him to be even better.

I just did not expect we would get where we are 10 games into the season.

Like I said, I am excited about the team and actually look forward to watching games.

yeah, I’ve been excited ever since the rebuild started, but now it’s getting even more fun now that you can see something special is going on, as we can look forward to multiple years of awesome habs hockey
    😍

We are actually watching the games more closely, rather than the management moves.

    LOL

I think a lot of people were actually expecting him to be this good, myself included lol.

Gotta say, really impressed by the kids – Demidov was expected (but not to this level this early), Zero “Sophomore Slump” for Hutson, Bolduc has been solid in whatever role he has been asked to play (and seems to play well with Dach), and Kapenen has been solid both ends of the ice and working well with Demidov/Newhook.

And Dobes has been rock solid in net, so far.

So much fun being excited about this team.

Almost forgot what that was like…

you’re obsessed with this topic, aren’t you
    🤣

You go with the hot goalie, right?

If Monty was on a heater, you’d stick with him (unless it is B2B).

Dobes playing well is just a really good thing for the Habs – he game looks a lot better than last year, not as panicked, not out of position as often, using his size.

I did not expect to see this level of improvement this quick.
