Who is the #1 goalie again?

    What an absolute disaster.

Fall behind 3-1, come back to make it 5-3, then get blasted out of the water 6-5.

Dobes better get the next start.

    Good blog Hugo.

Also, good notice towards Newhook. Really like how he has worked with Kapanen and Demidov, while also increasing his responsibility in other areas.

This might be the player I had hoped he would be when the Habs made the trade.

i loved playing but i didn’t really stop to understand the mechanics of everything until later in life. i just threw myself around. like, i got angles and coming out further from my net to take space away and all that but there are so many things i learned years later and though to myself “man, i really could have applied that knowledge back then.”

Likely could be a Sharks starter about now.

Someone wants to win the draft lottery.

Also, good dark and grey rainy Thursday morning.

i really wasn’t very good. i tried hard though!

alexa told me we have a frost warning tomorrow! right now it’s sort of overcast in places but sunny enough to blind you driving to work.

When I played early hockey – like 5-6 – we had a rotating goalie thing going. Everyone got a chance to play at least once.

Let in 1 goal, mostly because I was falling flat on the ice and no one could lift the puck very well.

    Never played goalie again.

I think that Demidov might be good.

Still does not mean you ain’t crazy

L8, I already implied that in a previous post in French…

    1) Was in French, so not one read it.
    2) Just wanted to further reinforce the point.

my point was I don’t think he lost his laser of a shot all of a sudden, and will surely start scoring again at some point on the PP, hence my “slow start” comment.

I am fully aware you would rather not see him play with the habs ever again.

I honestly think the guy is trying.

But putting him on the 4th line was not a way to help him succeed. Playing on the second wave of the power play is not playing with the same level of players.

I think he can be useful.

But I also think the kids have been surprisingly good so far (how long that lasts, who knows?), that they made him redundant, or even a liability if he is only playing on the 4th line.

Dach was skating today and apparently was looking in good shape, while Laine won’t travel with the team for their road trip (this is very sad for a lot of fans, I know lol).

I thought the Dach, Bolduc, Gallagher line looked pretty decent, but I’d rather have Evans, Anderson and Gallagher together.

Kinda screws Bolduc, but at least he gets some PP time.

    Laine…. over it.

The kids are showing up and scoring goals (while being exciting and engaged at both ends) – Demidov has been good, but Kapanen has far exceeded my expectations, love their chemistry.

Del Gaizo will eat hot dogs

Gonna have to hire Kessel as an assistant to coach him.
