I think the expectations that have been set for Demidov might be too high for the upcoming season, for various reasons.
Primarily, he is a rookie playing his first 82 game season, and then at the NHL level. Also, I do not think he will be playing with ideal linemates, as the second line is in flux.
HE should benefit from Power play time, though.
Long-term, I have very high hopes, but this upcoming season, if he can manage 20-25 G / 25-35 A for somewhere in the 50-55Pts range, that will be a huge success.
I figure Hart would be willing to play pretty much anywhere if it means he gets a chance again to play in the NHL, it’s more about teams determining if signing him is worth the criticism they’ll receive if they offer him a contract imho.
Likely sign 1 year league minimum.
And then see what he can get next off season.

jk, fantasy hockey seems too involved for me. fantasy football seems a lot easier than the other fantasy sports.
There is not much competition other than 3-4 teams going nuts, just need to click the button each week to auto set your roster, make sure you get goalie starts and manage your IR.
Like 5 minutes of work each week, maybe 10 on a bad week.

BTW – Head to Head category is easier to manage… do not have to figure out how many points a FOW is vs a goal.
You get the most FOW, you win that category, you get the most goals, you win that category, whomever wins the most categories wins the week…. rather than I got 17 FOW and you got 2 goals so I beat you because of math formula.
