I know it’s really early in the season but Laine is pretty much useless, the guy is too slow to be of any use … and he costs a fortune.

Yeah, but I will also state that Evans and Anderson are not ideal linemates for him 5 v 5.

And the second unit is clearly not as strong as the first.

I do expect more from Laine, but I am not surprised by what we are seeing.

But lets see where we are at at the 10 game mark, especially home games, where they Habs have last change.

    Ransom Thoughts

    – Rough game.

    – Lucky they got the win… Knight kept the Hawks in it all night.

    – The kids look good, Bolduc and Slaf playing to another level. Full season Slaf is gonna be fun to watch.

    – Not much playing time for Kapenen… would have like to see him get some PP, just to mix it up a little, given the Habs were terrible / predictable.

    – I like Demidov, but he reminds me of Slaf year 1 – always looking to make the pass / deferring to others. Needs to be selfish and shoot more… but I really appreciated his hustle to kill the breakaway during that Power Play.

    – A win is a win, but they should have blown the Hawks out of the water.

we’re not far away, just replace Laine by Veleno 🙂

Laine will play, unless hurt or traded.

    Nothing will change with that.

I am not terribly worried at this point, for the most part, they are playing well.

We will continue to see things as they are for now, until there is a bad game or two.

Evens deserves better. Heck, so does Anderson.

    Still think it ends up:

    Caufield Suzuki Slaf
    Laine Dach Bolduc
    Newhook Kapanen Demidov
    Anderson Evans Gally

The only thing that may drastically force changes is if the Kapenen line gets into a slump.

Also, I think Gally and Bolduc work well together, too.

    Gally with Evans & Anderson

I think this will be a line at some point.

In a good way, Kapenen mixed everything up with the way he plays with Demidov (and Newhook).

The Laine problem will be a problem all season, is my guess.

i noticed it yesterday. it’s weird.

all quotes are final! no returns, no exchanges!

i’m sure they’ll fix it eventually. but it’s a weird feature to up and disappear like that.

you can still edit your last post. but only your last post.

I also think it is limited in time til you can edit.

I cannot edit any of my previous posts, but when I submit, I can edit the last one for a little bit of time.

EDIT: I edited this to test.

    EDIT #2: Test.

Full Year of Slaf… but if you want a Fill Year of Slaf, hope for that too.
