Not saying they have to win every game, but why can’t they play this hard every game?

Also, Matheson out for over 4 minutes a the end of the game was insane, and he did not look slow or winded (yes, there was stops in play).

Also, too, they gotta score on some of those breakaways – making Pickard look like a Vezina candidate!

Good game, hopefully they keep the momentum going.

Never should have gotten to OT. Xhekaj with an atrocious play swung momentum big time. Honestly tired of him and Struble.

There were a lot of bad passes, a few of them give aways getting out of the zone.

Also too much east / west passing rather than a north south push when going up the ice, turn overs galore.

Not to mention the over passing while in the offensive zone…. shoot the damn puck already.

there have been conflicting reports about him, the habs are saying it’s “personal reasons”, I doubt there’s a trade incoming or whatever.

Saw somewhere he went to see a specialist in Philly.

    Fucking Montreal media….

Jacob Fowler gets the start on Saturday. Jake Evans and Arber Xhekaj are in. Jared Davidson and Jayden Struble are out

St. Louis clarified that Evans hasn’t been dealing with an injury.

    Hmmm….

    damn, tout un échange.

pas si mauvais comme retour pour les canucks, même si idéalement ils auraient voulu garder Hughes..

I think it is a win for Vancouver, slightly

Only a good deal for the Wild if they win the cup or sign him to a long-term contract (or both).

But I love that Guerin is swinging for the fences.

yeah, Jarry and that 3rd pairing guy from Nashville probably aren’t much of an upgrade over Skinner and Kulak, so they’re basically hoping the change of scenery will do the trick and get the team going.

Pens did well in the trade, get a 2nd and get rid of a long-term goalie contract they did not want (I think they put him on waivers last year), retain no money, and can flip Kulak for another pick down the road.

it feels like they’re making a trade just for the sake of making one, yes.

    Agree 100%.

But maybe it shakes up the team a little.

Not sure they are better or worse, but giving up a 2nd round pick + Kulak is likely not a win.

are these moves really making the oilers a better team..?

    wtf.

I think they had to get skinner out of there, not only because of his play but the whole funking circus it was creating.

Not sure they get much of an upgrade in net, if at all.

    Desperation, I guess.

    Per Lebrun, done deal.

    huh, noice.

perhaps the penguins will be open to trade away then, and last night’s performance from the habs was actually to seduce Crosby and show him what kind of team he could potentially join…

    Apparently:
Skinner, Kulak and a 2nd rounder to Pens.
Jarry and Sam Poulin to Edm

    Then

    Oilers get Spencer Stastney
    Predators get a ’27 third-round draft pick

    agreed, 100%.

not that I want to add to the already existing hype with a ludicrous comparison, but those are 2 main qualities that Price had lol.

Was not gonna say it… LOL.

Also, Lane Hutson with another save last night.

Put him in net full time.

    Per Friedman:

This is shaping up to be a very big day

There is word is Edmonton is closing in on a pair of deals…

Acquiring Tristan Jarry from Pittsburgh and Spencer Stastney from
    Nashville

We will see how it all unfolds.
