Participantif i highlight what i’m quoting it works 100% of the time for me now. so i’m thankful for that. i was getting tired of having to delete all the extra gibberish before but it works well this way.
Like you have anything else to do at work for 25-28 days of the month….
But yes, this works best and makes it easier.

ParticipantTry and see it as a team rebuilding.
It’s not great now, but with enough high draft picks, a few good decisions and some patience, this site will contend in no time!
meh, I brought up the quoting issues to Bill, and he basically replied that it was functioning as designed, so I’ll remain skeptical until actual changes and improvements are made.
Think about it, if they allowed infinite quoting, you’d have 10 page posts.
Crating some intelligence to only show 2 previous quotes so you can post would require re-design of forum application, at a core level.]]

ParticipantDo we have a 2nd center yet?
well Hughes didn’t make a trade for one yet, so…
to be honest though if he doesn’t manage to get one immediately it wouldn’t be too dramatic imho, since they do still have options they can try out internally. basically everyone has now given up on Dach, but he still has all the tools to do the job imho, it’s all up to him. ideally though he’d play on the wing, without the center position responsibilities…
Still think they will give Dach another shot at it.
Cost to pick one up is too expensive, even if there was one available.

ParticipantOK, gotta pack up for the commute home… weekend officially starts in 4 minutes.
you’re already at home!
I know.
I am already home from work.
Just close the office door until Monday.
LOL
Mash
ParticipantNice to see you are working on your old man / get off my lawn energy.
*shakes fist at clouds*
OK, gotta pack up for the commute home… weekend officially starts in 4 minutes.

ParticipantThere are advantages, for sure.
But there is also the downside of it… I kind of miss the commute. When I was in Toronto, I would take a 20 minute subway ride home (against traffic flow) and I could relax and decompress.
Then again, I don’t have to wear pants, go outside in bad weather, and shaving is 100% optional.
fuck the commute. think about how less frequent you get oil changes now! and stop for gas. and you don’t have to wake up early and factor in time to get to the office.
Nice to see you are working on your old man / get off my lawn energy.
Mash
ParticipantI’m home too.
But that is where I work, so….
i am very jealous of the people who can work from home. kickbro works from home. the bastard.

ParticipantWhen I worked at a telco, we had 3 “disabled” bathrooms on the second floor, each self contained with their own entrance.
I’d take my book and go read for a good hour or two in there… sometimes I would even use the toilet. The good thing is that there were handles on either side of it, so if you have to really work one out / constipated, you had some grips to help.
