Fowler Beck and Engstrom called back

I said before the start of the season that goaltending, not the secodn line center, was gonna make or break this season.

Fowler seems like a desperate move.

They have those heated coats now, with the batteries, that last like 8-10 hours before needing a recharge.

If I went out more often, or had to be out more often, I would probably get one.

So you are gonna be an old complaining lady, while setting the company on fire and have people not be able to look at you in the face knowing the sheer volume of porn you are streaming in that office???

Seems OK I guess, but I can do all that without leaving the house.

great news, everybody! i just found out i am getting one of the nicest offices in this building. it was just gutted and redone for a new sales rep but now it’s apparently going to me!

Hopefully it is sound proofed and has a lock on the door for all the porn you intend to watch.

Also, for the rare air guitar sessions.

frustrating game last night, the habs deserved a better fate, you could argue they played well in both games this weekend.

Habs did not come out ready to compete for the first 2 minutes of the second and that was the game.

Was pretty pissed when I saw that… I knew the game was over at that point with the way Binnington was making really good stops.

Lessons learned? Maybe, but this has happened a few times this year where they were not ready at the start of a period and paid the price.

Not sure why I kept watching.

You’d think my goalie stats this week would give you an eye hernia.

    3 games
    3 wins
    1 goal against
    GAA 0.033
    SV% .989
    2 shutouts.

    wow. who are your goalies?

Sorokin, Oettinger, and Wallstedt (and Daccord, but he was injured and I never start him now that he is back)

Wallstedt has been ridiculous the last 2 weeks or so – 7 Starts, 7 wins with 4 shutouts.

I have also gotten at least 1 shutout in each of the last 6-7 weeks (and one week I had 2 shutouts and pulled my goalies for the rest of the week, resulting in leaving 2 additional shutouts on the floor).

Goalies have been carrying me in my pools.

he’s been struggling lately, which is kind of a rare thing since he usually plays his role very well, so he just needs to get back to his former self, nothing to worry about too much imho.

Evans, Gallagher, even Anderson – they saw a lot more ice time last year and has a lot more offensive responsibilities because of the injuries. Their numbers showed that.

Throw in Demidov and Kapanen, and they are not seeing the same type pf minutes and are asked to play a more defensive game.

Seems like a fair trade off, but I am a big Evans and Gallagher fan, so it is a little hard to watch then sit on the sides a lot.

still far from perfect in their zone but a better effort than the night before. good game for Slaf, this kid is taking a step this season, nice to see. good game for wifi too. I want to see more from Evans, a lot more.

The difference with Slaf this year is that when he is not scoring, he is doing the right things out there more often than not – finishing his check, forechecking, improved defensive positioning.

I just wish he would shoot more, rather than trying to make the pass first.

    The points will come.

    The overall play has improved.
