I hope this place develops into an improved forum version of HB.

This Habs forum seems awesome so far. Hopefully any bad eggs stay away.It seems there is a belligerent poster over on the Leafs forum who fights constantly with everyone.

Been an on-and-off HB lurker for about 12 years.
Sometimes took a break of an entire season or more.Yeah, JJ and “Bob” were something else all right.
He had a couple guys suspended for fairly harmless stuff IIRC.
As bad as he was, I’m not sure he deserved *all* the abuse he got from the regulars.Welceom back John Jaeckel!

The posts dealing with my arrival in this thread have already outnumber the entire post count
in the Blackhawks forum since this site opened.
80% of those forum posts are by me.
10% of those are worth reading.Geez, you can really fall behind fast in this forum, lol (don’t know how to add an emoji and they look bad anyway from what I can tell)

I’ve browsed thru a lot of the Habs forum chatter.
It seems very friendly from what I can tell.The Sexual Chicken Guy conversations can get a bit weird but I’m willing to give it a try!

Brossoit would not count if they put him on LTIR.
I created a roster of 23 players assuming Brossoit is still injured.
If Brossoit is healthy, they could:
a) try to trade him (won’t get much, if anything)
b) send him to the AHL (he might get claimed going through waivers but they likely wouldn’t care)
c) keep 3 goalies on the NHL roster, and send the Weber contract to LTIR. They would still be above the cap floor.
