if I were Briere I’d be at least kicking tires with NY to see what it would take to move to #1. But you’d have to guarantee Hagens will be available at 6 and I’m not sure how you do that unless Briere moves up twice.

Lappy has done a fantastic job with this team and I for one would have no problem if he ended up as Flyers head coach.
