ParticipantYeah, but for Quick… that was embarrassing at the end.
I dont think it was embarrassing for Quick, why do you think it was. What was an embarrassment was the the tissue crew of our “Core” Panarin, Mika and Fox not even batting an eye after he shot it in the net. I dont want a Morgan Rielly response but show some kind of emotion, it was pathetic and they were all standing within 15 of him. It came down to a 39yo goalie to show some emotion on this team. With just over a quarter of the season gone, this team is nothing more than a .500 hockey team that is nothing more than a bubble playoff team.
I honestly haven’t been watching – caught maybe one full game and pieces here and there. Doesn’t sound like I am missing much. I did see a clip from last night of JT losing the puck and not even trying to recover. Looked like that old Ovechkin controller disconnect meme from years ago. Will be at the game tomorrow against the avs – I don’t have high hopes lol.

this team is trash at home

ParticipantThe fact that they’re doing that well defensively is crazy after last season. I think the SJ and Calgary game were the only two games where that wasn’t the case. If they could’ve scored more early on they’d be well above .500
It’s a long season but I’m really impressed by a bunch of things, disappointed in some things and surprised by a few things.
They’re are on the right track which is a good thing back to being a good team. Sorry Brukie but they really are
TJ, good teams dont sit at a .500 record. They are playing a bit better defensively but cant score now. Mika has been in decline for years, Panarin was going to slow down too but jesh, they fell off a cliff. Its most likely the system Sully instilled. Our defense sucks aside from Gavrikov and and to a lesser extent Schneider. Fox is terrible defensively. Season is still young but Im not expecting more than a wild card battle from this group.
considering we can’t win at home, that wild card might be a good thing.

ParticipantThey jusy gave up like 8 shots for an entire game. Boom 180. A straight up genius at work right there
We should probably win a home game before we declare things have turned around. The 3 game streak is nice though.
