The last time I can personally recall the Leafs leading a second round series like this was back around the turn of the century. Darcy Tucker was a Leaf and I think either Belfour or Cujo was between the pipes. It’s been a hot minute.

I will not be travelling to Florida for obvious reasons (unprovoked alligator attacks), but just for fun I fooled around on Travelocity:

Something about this doesn’t smell right. Without going too deep into alligator behavior, big gators avoid shallow water and will usually avoid people. They don’t panic and start thrashing around if you paddle over them. I’ve paddled right over a ton of gators and some big ones, and sometimes close enough you could reach out and touch one with your paddle. I’ve never had one freak out or get aggressive. In the vast majority of alligator attacks, the person was doing something unwise or something to provoke the animal.

Or, the husband SAID that’s how it happened…
