Organized by our friends at Chirping Pucks, the 2025 Last Summer Shift women’s hockey tournament runs from August 29 to 31, 2025. It’s our privilege at Hockey Hot Stove to help support the continued growth of women’s hockey in the Delaware Valley. On a national level, please check out Rob Del Mundo’s frequent coverage of the PWHL and other women’s hockey stories here at HHS.
Locally, we plan to spotlight Chirping Pucks’ women’s hockey tournaments as well as events such the Cancer Warriors tournament, Checkmates Charity and men’s hockey events. To a person, all of us at HSS believe strongly that the game belongs to all of us. We will also link to major events from the Flyers Warriors and other USA Hockey sanctioned Warriors tournaments as well the Flyers PowerPlay power wheelchair hockey program. The Flyers Alumni Association in very active in supporting all manner of youth and amateur hockey programs, and we want to mirror that commitment at Hockey Hot Stove, too. We’re an NHL website but not JUST an NHL site.
It’s our privilege and honor that Frankie James of Chirping Pucks had the HSS logos placed on the back of the women’s hockey tournament jerseys for Last Summer Shift. Thank you, Frankie, and we’re looking forward to some great hockey!
