The Leafs Convo with myself and Norman James is back. Norm and I will discuss and review the Toronto Maple Leafs today. Auston Matthews returned to Toronto after celebrating with his teammates after the Americans’ overtime victory over Team Canada, but the Leafs pretty much resumed the pathetic play that they displayed for most of the first 57 games, losing to Tampa Bay, Florida, and Ottawa and pretty much eliminating their chances of climbing back into the Eastern Conference playoff race.
We will also discuss what GM Brad Treliving will do with rentals like Bobby McMann and others before the trade deadline.
