The Dallas Stars’ thrilling comeback win in Game 7 of their Western Conference Quarterfinal series against the Colorado Avalanche was a great outcome on two different fronts. First, it was outstanding from a sheer entertainment standpoint. Secondly, it was good for the Flyers’ from an NHL Draft asset standpoint. Importantly, the 2025 first-round pick the Flyers acquired from Colorado last year increased in value with the Avs (8th-place in the leaguewide regular season standings) losing in the first round of the playoffs.
