The Philadelphia Flyers await and are similarly fighting for their playoff lives, thus this game will be another big test. There is no easy path to the post season, yet Detroit is showing that they are willing to fight for the opportunity.

Debrincat and Seider were a big factor

Only Lucas Raymond has more assists for Detroit with 47.

Moritz Seider assisted on the first two goals, both of them on the power play. The second goal saw Seider jump and catch the puck as Buffalo attempted to clear it. Detroit has No room for error

If the Red Wings can grab another win, the playoff push is very much alive. However, a regulation loss could push them to the brink. Detroit has earned the ability to have every game matters for the final stretch of the season.

Jacob Bernard Docker scored his first goal of the season and his first as a Red Wing. JBD just signed a 2 year extension for the club, and looks increasingly comfortable in the role he’s secured. Detroit will need depth scoring to be a factor as they try and go on their final push of the season. Every game is a potential elimination game for the final ten.
