I noticed Grebenkin hasn’t been mentioned in the rookie articles (players to watch; candidates to make the roster). I was thinking he might have a chance, especially if Foerster isn’t quite ready. Bump may have the inside track as a “preferred”(???) candidate by the front office, but Grebenkin does have the pro experience in the AHL. Thoughts?

They’re probably all going to get games. The Flyers have 2-3 slots up for grabs plus you have injuries. Dorwart, Barkey, Kaplan, Luchanko, Grevenkin, Bump. My biggest concern up front is they still aren’t deep at center. They swapped out three guys who could play the middle in Frost, Laughton and Poehling and only brought two back. They need another guy.

Mentioning Kaplan is just pure Flyers propaganda as he isn’t anywhere close to nhl level . Should have 100% went back to for senior year. He jsut hasn’t progressed. Liked that pick at the time. He had nhl potential. Don’t see it now

You could be right. I’m not claiming all these guys will develop into NHL regulars, in fact most won’t, just that they will get looks.
