Heading into the first game of the California road trip the Penguins went with a new look lineup against the Anaheim Ducks.  It wasn’t the best l

If Brunickie gets the slow treatment but Kindel does not, do we try to big brain it as to why?

I’m guessing there is a year long plan for brunicke and a 9 game long plan for kindel. Give him a taster of 9 games, send him down to juniors where he can be more focused on drills, skills, and the gym. Bulk up, get faster, come back next year with 3 years on his contracts still.

Man, these teams that have their whole cores locked up like Montreal are gonna be laughing the way this cap is jumping. Hutson for 8m is gonna be a steal. NJ too. Dallas and Edmonton getting bailed out huge.

I think they’re probably on the same plan, it’s just that last night was Brunicke’s night to take a rest and we’ll see Kindel take a rest soon

I’m starting to think Kindel could stay. He’s good enough imo. My only argument against it would be if we just keep losing, he could be spared and be sent back.

Well kindel seems to be on the same plan. Boxscore bob here looked at his analytics and they’re actually quite impressive with his mediocre RW and loser of a LW. I would love for him to get Mcgroats, Hayes (Avery), Broz, or some other young feisty kids instead of Novak. Tomasino looked good last year with Malkin so maybe he’s ok.

I don’t see it with Tomasino at all. I bet he’ll be dealt

I like Lizotte but otherwise every bottom 6 and everyone in the pressbox that’s a forward can go away. Hopefully some of these prospects other than kindel work out. I think the cupboards are pretty damn bare still. EK better start killing it if he hopes to get half retained to go to a contender.
