      Bill was:

      – Rizzo hurt or healthy scratch?
      – Have the flyers to talked or have any interest in Maxim Shabanov? if not any idea why?

      – do yu see the flyers trying in any way tp bring giroux back?

= what free agents do you see the flyers targeting.

      Rizzo injured.
      Giroux isn’t coming back.
Haven’t head one or the other re: Shabanov.

agree 100%. do or would the flyers have interest was what I was wondering.

I, for one, would LOVE to see Giroux come back and finish his career where he spent most of it. Remember when Gagne came back? He wasn’t the same player anymore but he still helped for the short time he was here. Tocchet did, too.

I can’t envision any circumstance where he would want to come back.

Now that Ottawa made the playoffs the pressure is now ramped up. he comes back here little to no pressure and the feel good story. gets to ride into the sunset so to speak.

from a wanting to try to win perspective makes zero sense. He will probably do 1 year contract with the Sens for 5 million per or maybe a 2 year.

Got no hope for the future when you live in the past.

While Giroux would help, I don’t see where he helps this team get to the playoffs (if that’s the ultimate goal of the signing) and it would be a very short-term solution. And like many others here, I can’t imagine Giroux would entertain the idea of coming back to Philadelphia.

Yeah I can’t see Giroux holding them hostage in some sort of contract dispute. It will be an easy negotiation for him to stay.

wonder if he ever wonders what if I had took less money to stay in florida. could have cemented himself as a HOF player with a cup and an appearance or 2.
