TJ, stop making a fool of yourself.

I said Greentree is who I wanted and that’s a good pickup. Only getting a 3rd on top is a disgrace. Like others have said, releasing the letter, scratching him etc diminished the return. Same way he got nothing for Kakko Kreider and Trouba bc he made it known he wanted them gone regardless, kinda hard to negotiate when you show your hand.

Your problem is what YOU think a player should get back isn’t what is actually the truth. You do it all the time. And then you go on and on about it for years how they should’ve gotten this or that. Trouba sucked. Kreider was old. Together they managed to lead them out of two playoff series wins, snatching losses from the hands of victory. Throw Goodrow in that mix too. To a lesser extent Panarin. It all makes sense. It was a flawed team that he didn’t even build, now he’s dismantled it. Florida series open Drurys eyes, mine and apparently no one else’s

Imagine he got hurt and got nothing for him. Why do you think he was scratched?Unbelievable 🤣

You.
Are.
Impossible.
To.
Please.

and I got news for you, letter or no letter, it was fairly obvious Panarin was getting traded. It wasn’t a secret which is what I guess you guys thought would happen. Again he did a player a solid (after last year), by trading him pre freeze where he can adapt to LA find a place, meet the people around the team, etc. Maybe he got some much needed brownie pts with these divas, and maybe it hurt the return a little bit..but he had no leverage. And imo hes lucky to get what he did if it was that limited (leverage). He didn’t sign him to that contract, so the clauses didn’t help obviously
