yes its me 2050Participantare they on the outside looking in? yes or no?
nothing but excuses that every team can apply in some form.
They are in a playoff race. They need to gain ground fast.
What excuses? Said before the season I expected improvement and they might make the playoffs if they got some breaks. They’d be in a playoff spot right now if they were in the west. They have a better win pct. than SEA and Utah.
cant even answer a simple yes or no question.
in a playoff race wow. so is every other team except the rangers. what an accomplishment. the good le if they were in the west conf they would be a playoff team.
flyers fans by far the dumbest in sports.

yes its me 2050ParticipantYou really buy into the flyers bullshit. 3 new pieces having career years and the flyers still on the outside looking in. All 3 new pieces have come back down to earth by the way. I am sure they will continue their trajectory upwards. Never mind the regression of the internal pieces.
Let me know when David is playing every game next year on the blue line. Dumb dumb danny has had 3 years to get a better goalie than Sam. He hasn’t. Sam will be back if danny has a say, it will depend on what Tocchet wants.
On the outside looking in? Barely. Looking back on the season, a lot of points and games pissed away. A 1-3 record against the last in the conference Rags? Terrible. The 2-8-4 stretch killed their season. Ersson decided to regress this year. You can’t say they didn’t give him a fair shot. It’s a lock they’ll upgrade the 2G slot. They can’t do worse.

yes its me 2050Participantwhat has danny done to give you any confidence this team will get to the path of cup contention?
Big improvement over last year, good young pieces that will play here next year (Martone, Jiricek), a new 2G. A good unforeseen trade or UFA signing would add to that. The three top acquisitions last season are having career years. This is not complicated.
“big” I tell yay
Improvement over a year ago is because of the goalie (one who has put up his career averages the last 15 games save % wise). What is it you say, it’s not complicated. This said improvement is not really any real improvement that is going to make any diff going forward.

yes its me 2050ParticipantIn last 11, Flyers are 7-3-1. .682 hockey. That continued pace will get them to 96 points, maybe enough to make the playoffs.
go flyers. on the path to the cup
Your analysis ends in grade school and anyone who completed above elementary would understand the fallacy. 2 years ago the Flyers were on pace on pace for 92 points after 72 games before collapsing down the stretch, which was an improvement over the 75 point finish the year before. Sound familiar? Yet they finished with 87 and went right back to mid 70s this past year. Why?
The 87 points in 23-24 was a mirage. Also, who gives a shit? Feel free to live in the past. Are you predicting they’re going back to the mid-70s in points next year? They were a bad team last year with some good players and they’re a better team this year with some good players plus three upgrades. Overcomplicating things like a delusional mental patient is not good analysis.

yes its me 2050ParticipantHow do you fall to 30th in SOG (29th in Shots against) and think the team is headed in the right direction?
Because last year this team had 76 points, this year they’re on pace for 92. Sixteen point improvement. Last year they gave up 286 goals, 3.49 per game. this year 3.01. About a half goal a game. This is not complicated when you understand grade school math.
being propped up by a goalie having a career year. this is the only reason for the “improvement”. Sad gullible flyers fans like yourself are s blind and eat up the flyers propaganda.
love pace. Let me know what the finish with. This team has bigger holes than your wife’s gap. Peeps thinking this team is headed in the right direction is pure entertainment./
what is their winning %? you haven’t posted that in months
