New Canadiens Connection: Playoff Ceiling

With the Stanley Cup playoffs getting closer, the Montreal Canadiens find themselves in a very interesting position. With 80 games played, the standings are tight – Tampa and Montreal trail the Buffalo Sabres by just two points.

When you look at the path in front of the Habs, there’s a lot to consider. The Atlantic Division race is still unfolding, which will shape the matchups, and there’s a very real possibility Montreal could be heading into a tough, physical first-round playoff series right away.
