New Canadiens Connection: Habs Camp Guide

September’s arrival is nearly here, and the Montreal Canadiens‘ offseason now requires greater attention. Rookie camp and training camp are nearly here. The calendar is filling up, and soon the Canadiens will be back on the ice.

That means there are plenty of things worth keeping an eye on. Some events will be happening on the ice. There are off-ice decisions that still need to be made. And there are milestones on the calendar that will directly lead to the 2026-27 regular season getting officially underway.

So, this week, we’re putting together a bit of a Canadiens fan primer for September. We’re going to highlight some of the dates, players and storylines that we think deserve your attention as the Canadiens move from the offseason into training camp and, eventually, opening night. After months of talking about what might happen, we’re finally getting to the point where we’re going to start finding out what will happen.
