ParticipantLove the “experts” who have a player pegged a month after he turns 20 and coming off a significant injury. They should be working in NHL, because no one who actually does it professionally makes brash predictions like that, positive or negative.
Sure, he could get hurt again or just stay healthy and belly up. Some of these miserable jerks seem to be rooting for the worst. At least if I have a bad feeling about a prospect, I hope to be wrong.

ParticipantHahahaha! We’ll see how he does in LHV. A point per game, or close to it, will make your prediction look bad. A .5 PPG, or not far above it, will make it look good. I’d bet $1 on it looking bad.

ParticipantNot that anyone cares, especially after the embarrassing start to the season but I am glad to see the performative PR “look at the shiny thing instead of look at how bad we are” Jett Luchanko experiment came to an end. He may get called up during the season but the many years of 10 game tryouts where he sat in the press box while the team PR team went nuts over the “youngest player to make the Flyers opening day roster” and “forced his way onto the opening roster” with no actual substance is over.
I guess since they surprisingly made the playoffs last year they’ve moved onto the next shiny distraction. It might’ve looked bad if he spent the 3rd consecutive early season watching games from the press box while the Flyers PR team hypes him. You could tell Toc wanted him nowhere near the ice during his short stay last year despite the hype.
I don’t think it’s to early to say, in Jett’s case, that everyone was correct about Jett except the galaxy brained Flyers front office that had 0 front office experience. Pre-draft had him pegged as an energy 3rd liner as his upside that would take some time to develop and he’s done nothing since to prove that that isn’t his ceiling but for awhile there the Flyers brass tried to convince everyone he was the future top line center of the team and was NHL ready.
