Cassidy got fired because his goalies suck…all 3 of them. #1 in the NHL in injuries. Vegas is very aggressive but Cassidy got the short end of the stick there.
Now, Cassidy, DeBoer and Laviolette are all available for the Leafs to hire to try and become pretenders again.
With the money the Leafs have, they could hire all 3 of them and have a coach council, each one getting more money than any coach in the league. Won’t happen.
