  • We al know the Canucks may not have the 15th pick, as they are desperate to try acquire some ready now talent.
I believe the Canucks need to reconsider that direction and build some depth in prospect pool, while signing some bargain basement free agents.
Even trading down, maybe with a team like the Flyers who pick at 22 and 31 or 32, as well as 6th. With the drop down pick at 22 a big 2 way centreman should be available in Jack Nesbitt

There are always differing of opinions on the best course of action management should take. I believe that all options should be considered, when they used the 1st for Hronek was smart. When they used it for Lindstrom it was wasted in my opinion on both trades.
The club can acquire depth through trades as well such as Mancini, who is an excellent prospect.

I’m not disagreeing just making a point that all options should be explored.

Valid point. I just hate seeing so many picks thrown out the window year after year, then watch 5 or 6 years later when the team looks like they might have some room for nice improvement, but end up with no one coming up to fill in as the picks have been traded away for several years.

Those Panthers are a fun team to watch.
