ParticipantThank you, I really appreciate that. I’m still delivering the same level of work, even if I’m now covering a few teams. Yes, I’m French Canadian and I cover the Canadiens every day as well.
I’ve always tried to write the game with a different pair of eyes — to help fans understand what’s really happening on the ice.
Frenchy, you don’t have to take inventory of yourself more than any other normal person does. You’re not only steeped in the sport at its grassroot level but in the hockey hotbed of the world. Add your abilities with the written word and you’re a fine conduit. ……… My hope is you never change a thing.

ParticipantI can’t see this experiment working. All the rookies are a bunch of weak, undersized junior players. Wirtz has to get rid of Davidson and get a real GM.

ParticipantI went to the game last night with a couple of old friends. The parking cost is ridiculous. For twenty dollars more, you could buy a ticket. I thought they looked quite lethargic. Five minutes into the second period, they had four SOG. What’s that? They need a better coach for the defense. They constantly leave the front of the net to go halfway up the D zone. What I can’t stand is all of the noise in the UC. It is constant. You can’t talk to the guy sitting next to you. I love this team, but I hate that place!

Participant50 points in 51 games not to shabby
71st game last year to get to 51 points
Even though Nazar hasn’t scored he’s an effective hockey player just like Moore.

ParticipantIt’s just nice to see this rebuild working out better than expected and quieting down the insta crowd.
The fun part for me is watching the vets and seeing their limitations on the ice, soon to be replaced by talented top kids who will take this team to another level because of the depth that is going to take place in the next 3 years.

ParticipantThank you, I really appreciate that. I’m glad the articles are still useful and informative for you.
I understand the frustration with the site — you’re definitely not alone — and I’m thankful you’re still here reading and supporting.Frenchy

ParticipantFun to watch Greene, Moore, and Lardis play. If you didn’t notice, they each got a point on the only Hawk goal last night – Greene with the goal assisted by Moore and Lardis. And the othe night Lardis scored in regulation with Moore potting the winner in the shootout. Let’s hope they keep that up.

ParticipantEspecially where’s Boilermaker
I’m still here, but mostly to read Frenchy’s informative articles and not to post comments. I can’t say this enough – there is great content here, thanks to Frenchy. But, as others as mentioned, there are times I’m frustrated with the workings of this site.
