I agree that Engstrom is ahead right now, more rounded game. The question with him is how high is his ceiling and what his chair will be in the NHL. It’s hard to make a spot on a roster with just being ok in everything.
Mailloux brings more offense and a big shot, he’s also more physical. But he can’t be a liability all the time on the ice. You can teach and work on defense but you can’t teach being 6’3 with a big shot and the ability to drop the gloves.
Should be interesting at camp there’s a spot for one of Reinbacher, Mailloux or Engstrom.
