Participantit would probably cost a forward, a dman, and picks/prospects
if they’re trying to get an already established center or a high-end prospect, they’re gonna have to pay up, that’s for sure.

they have the assets to make it happen, just need to find a dance partner. easier said than done.

last year they had Dvorak. his line with Gally and Anderson was often our best line.

now they have 2.They did it without a real 2nd line center all year long, and Dobson, Bolduc + full season of Demidov > Armia, Savard and Dvorak – no matter which way you look at it.
I am not saying they are a perfect team, but they are a better team.

ParticipantI would agree, probably a better team, but the center line is so important… pretty tough to produce something when you don’t start with the puck. you said it yourself our 2nd line did nothing at 5×5 last season.

And they still made the playoffs.
Everyone knows the second line is a weakness, but I think it will work itself out… either internally, or by November, if it is not working and HuGo go do something about it via trade.

Participantperhaps Scab could write a blog about Hutson’s dad talking about Lane not being invited at camp by team USA, saying he could always play for Canada instead… that’s a pretty cool story loll.

ouch! RIP Mr Dryden
they’ll have a pretty good team up thereSeptember 6, 2025 at 10:25 am #25353Mash
ParticipantTough 24 hours for Habs goalies.
Did not even know Dryden was ill, but I guess, it is/was none of our business.
I remember watching those 70s games on TV as a kid. What a crazy good team to cheer for… and become a Habs fan.
I was spoiled by those teams.
My childhood heroes seems to be vanishing, I feel a lot older today.

I think he is trying to see if we can get to 200 pages first.
