I don’t think it’s because Karpizov wants even more money, it’s very apparent he simply doesn’t want to play there anymore.

maybe I’m missing a part of the story here but I don’t understand the emotional response, if he doesn’t want to play there anymore, what’s he supposed to do, sign anyway for a bunch of money and be unhappy? doesn’t really make sense.

yeah I get it, they should respect more the first team that gave you a chance / drafted you

otherwise it will always be the same teams with the loaded line ups, just like in Baseball
