I think the only reason Laine is still a Habs is that Hughes doesn’t like to sell low. he’s waiting for the tdl to get a better return.
as for Dach… fingers crossed. he has 82 games to show he can play in this league. a bad season would be his last one in MTL imo.baby it’s hot outside
I do think Laine will be faster with a full summer of training and not anyone going Cedric Paré on his knee. It won’t change who he is and he’ll remain weak defensively…. but he should be better. He certainly looks faster in Brossard imho.
Dach I think needed a big wakeup call. If he shows up to camp in great shape and builds from there, I think he’ll remain with the team moving forward. Perhaps not at as a centre but still a player. A bad start from him might be the end by November as Mashadar suggested.
