    I am mildly optimistic Laine and Dach can work well together and have somewhat productive seasons.

    If they are mediocre, I think that will be acceptable…

    But I also more realistic with the expectation that by mid-November, the Habs could blow that line up and juggle things around over and over for the rest of the year.

    Sounds like a tandem that teams would love out there with first change.

    I think the only reason Laine is still a Habs is that Hughes doesn’t like to sell low. he’s waiting for the tdl to get a better return.
    as for Dach… fingers crossed. he has 82 games to show he can play in this league. a bad season would be his last one in MTL imo.
