ParticipantIf you are thinking about trading Reinbacher to get Kyrou, why not sign a guy like Ehlers or Boeser tomorrow and keep your assets?
Because the free agent has to want to sign there and Kyrou’s contract is a known quantity?

ParticipantHabs have the assets. Makes sense. He’s actually good and not a roll of the dice like Dach/Newhook. Not sure why the Blues would want to move on? Berube is gone and Montgomery is a great coach for scoring.
According to D’Amico (in the video), the Blues have drafted a lot of wingers in the last few years and they need to make room for them in the lineup … their defense is also getting old so they are probably looking to improve in that area.
My guess is they also probably want to lower their salary load. JMO

ParticipantInteresting discussion about the difficulty of getting a 2nd line center and the logic of trading (or not) for Jordan Kyrou from the Blues.

It’s the last day for qualifying offers! At #CH, here are the players who will have to be qualified to retain their services:
– Jakub Dobes
– Jayden Struble
– Rafael Harvey-Pinard
– Sean Farrell
– Xavier Simoneau
– William Trudeau
– Noel Hoefenmayer
– Gustav Lindstrom
– Cayden PrimeauBecause of their 2024-25 contracts, it’s a real possibility that Cayden Primeau and Rafael Harvey-Pinard won’t qualify. It’s still possible to sign them afterward if they so desire.
It remains to be seen whether the organization still has plans for them.

*waits for my offer*
