    Thanks Trevor!

It’s a good deal for both sides. Really hoping Zary gets a big pay raise on his next contract.

I am guessing we all can agree he is a winger and not a C?

I don’t get the push to have him at center, but we’ll see. Pretty packed down the middle anyway with Kadri, Frost, and Backlund.

He was drafted as a center out of Kamloops. Not sure why we wouldn’t want to try him there.

My thinking is that his development has been stunted due to the injuries. I just want to see him thrive, and I am not sure if putting him head-to-head against the McDavids and McKinnons of the West is the best way to make that happen. Also, as Trevor mentioned, there is not much of an opening for him. It seems more important to management to keep aging players like Backlund and Kadri around.

I just don’t want another Sam Bennett situation where the development is stifled because they did not make room for him in the top 6.

There will be a spot for him. As for Farabee, Frost, Sharangovich.. well there is only so many minutes to give out.
