    Pens did well in the trade, get a 2nd and get rid of a long-term goalie contract they did not want (I think they put him on waivers last year), retain no money, and can flip Kulak for another pick down the road

    yeah, Jarry and that 3rd pairing guy from Nashville probably aren’t much of an upgrade over Skinner and Kulak, so they’re basically hoping the change of scenery will do the trick and get the team going.

    Pens did well in the trade, get a 2nd and get rid of a long-term goalie contract they did not want (I think they put him on waivers last year), retain no money, and can flip Kulak for another pick down the road.

    Not sure they are better or worse, but giving up a 2nd round pick + Kulak is likely not a win.
