He looked really good with Evans and filled in pretty well on the top line against the Sabres.

even if Dach or Texier play themselves out of the top line, I don’t really see where Laine would fit in the lineup… there isn’t really any spot for him in the top 6, and he definitely doesn’t correspond to a bottom 6 player either…
